i know this may sound silly but how do you improve your jump i can hit most of the rails in the park but i want to try to hit hand rail. If have any tips or tecniques please tell me

Do lots of jumping jacks, and if you have some barbells with a long bar, you can do deadlifts and squats. You'll get killer jumps like that.

Also, for the actual jump : roll with the speed you think is necessary. crouch down and explode upwards as hard as you can using your legs to kick off the ground. Tuck your legs for extra height.

1. Get speed.
2. Jump hard, and dont let your knees go down
3. get ur knee's down when u think ur far enough

That is the way i do it,
Just bend ur knee's until u think ur far enough, dont straight urself , just keep bending ur knee's

thnks cool ya i got some barbells try those. Ya i gotta explode btr pull up my knee's fine. Also 13 and 5.6

Main points are working out and just plain practicing. Anything that will build your legs. Jumping up steps, doing squats, leg extensions, etc.

wat they said and also look up plyometrics(i think i spelled it right) it will give u a bunch of jumping excerises, those help a lot! dont 4get 2 stretch it helps 2.

a big part of jumping is mental, you dont jump as high because you think that you cant. one way to get over this is to stand next to the rail and look down. when you focus more on how much taller than it you are, it becomes that much easier to get up there
