try a mizou,

some people learn mizous first over soul grinds, its all preference on teaching yourself

and if you really wanna land a soul, just stall on whatever your trying to grind first, and once you get it good, try getting speed and sliding the stall

yeah, just stall it first and dont step up on it; jump on with both feet at once.

And don't just stall it once and then expect to land it. Stall it a few times to get used to the motion and the feeling of it. Then go for it.

yea man, jsut stall it a good few times right, and get the fell for it till you can stall and get on top of the rail, then jsut get little bits of speed and try, then when you get it better, jsut go faster and faster. the soul is also my safety grind, but i'm pretty damn shit for my amount of skating but then again i dont try cause of no otehr bladers, but lately i've been trying real ahrd on my prail and i've been gettin the soul 360's good. jsut takes practise, dont give up after a few tries.(edit) holy shit haha i didn't knwo i still had a sig on here, my skates are trashed now

If I'm not mistaken it's where your front foot is in a farv and your back foot is in royale. Your frames are close to each other and your legs are curving outward.

I'm a bit old school here, but what is a farv?

Like a royale except turned around. Instead of flexing your skates back you torque them both forward.

cuz it was originally called like a favernugen or something like that and it means pure pleasure or something in german. but thats too hard to say so peeps either call it a farv or a torque :-D

okay now with these diagrams... the way it says the Left is on the soulplate and the right is on the h-block... does it matter which foot that is? because a lot of times ill switch em and have my right on the soulplate and my left on the hblock

No damnit, farv and torque are two different tricks. Farvergnugen (does anybody know how to really spell it? I don't) means you have both feet on, but a torque is just your front foot. Some old school people still call farvs "full torque" but whatever.

Mike- The name doesn't really matter. Get over it.
