I'm also interested in some pick up games. I have a couple friends that play from time to time (read: twice a year) and I would like to know if anyone plays a little more regularly in the area.

Depending on how far you're willing to travel you can find weekend pickup games at three different rinks off of Horsham Road* within ten minutes of each other. I'll also throw a couple of others in.

*Horsham Park/Kohler Park. E/-

*Upper State Road next to Mary, Mother of the Redeemer (MMR)-Spring Valley Park. + http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8...17383515540391

*Kenas Road off of Horsham Road-(where the nursery/garden place is) Windlestrae Park++ http://www.mapquest.com/maps?name=Wi...&zipcode=19454

Whistlestop in Colmar, about ten minutes north of Spring Valley Park.E/-

This one is in Blue Bell. A little further than the rest but looks to be a nice rink.

Belmont, off the Sure-kill Expressway (Belmont/Manyunk exit)++

Venice Island on the Manyunk Canal (IF it was ever reopened).Edit: Apparently they just recently started the demo on the entire island so it'll be awhile.
Was just informed there is one near Wintersport in Willow Grove,off of Railroad Ave. ?

Spring Valley used to have a pretty good pickup league, but most of the time they had no problem fitting guys in.

Belmont, back in the day, had a great crowd on Tuesday nights (lit until 11 pm).

I'm just getting back into it myself so I haven't been out for a game yet.
