Default Graf 709 vs Bauer Nexus 1000

I'm in the market for some new skates and have been looking at these two.

I have really thick feet and a high instep so I basically need the deepest fitting skate on the market, outside of custom.

Anyone have any experience with these two skates ?

Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

I've had the 709 and the G70, both are very deep skates. I've got a high instep as well, so those are the only two that I can wear without having any issues with lacebite etc.

You'll need to make sure you get the right width etc with the Nexus. From what I've heard they have a wider last.

Fatwabitt is a graf man for sure, the 709 can actually be bought in a w+ in my exp the 709 is the deepest boot know to man, nexus will have a higher arch which in its own way reduces depth, performance wise they will differ greatly
