Default Can you extend a 1 piece composite stick?

I have a used Bauer Vapor x40 stick i got from a friend. However, it feels a bit short. Is there a way to add an extension to it?

How much do you need to extend it by? You could buy a normal 6" or 12" plug to extend it. For the vapor series you'll need to shave/sand the edges of the tenon.

There are other ways to do it. You could use an older broken wooden blade, cut off the blade and extend that way... Or you could get 1"x1/2" wooden stick from the hardware store, put that in the top end, then put a cut shaft over the wooden piece.

I buy the pre glued wooden extensions for my sticks. Bang it in with a rubber mallet and use a hair dryer to heat the glue. Then cut it with a hack saw to desired length. Takes 10 minutes
