Seemed like something interesting to see, and I, like the thread creator, am really bored right now.

These are from a Bantam A tournament out in Anaheim last Christmas, #13, Arapahoe Ice Warriors.

How come you have to wear mouth guards? I don't get it; if you have a cage on you can't get your teeth hit?

Good photos by the way.

If you fall, and hit your chin or cage, your jaw gets jolted upward. Your lower teeth crunch with your upper teeth. and with the money my parents have spent on orthodontics, they don't really give me a choice.

And in a presidents day tourney they made us wear neck guards as well (Kind of ironic that it was right after the Zednik incident)

Yeah, he's about 6'4", 210lbsish I would guess and I go 5'11", 155lbs haha. It was a rough game, they're a big team who likes to play rough, but though we're a smaller team, we out skated them easily and they spent alot of time in the box.

Could you post the video captures? I'm just curious to see how the play looks in other beer leagues (and countries for that matter)...

The XXV is now my all time favorite stick. Something about the feel of it just makes me crazy. But tryouts are in September, and if I make AA I might treat myself to a XXXX because if the XXV is that great, then the XXXX has to be better, right? ;)

So far, my XXV has beat out these for title of my favorite ice stick (Haven't used it for inline):
Pro-stock dolo shaft with various blades
Retail one90 shaft with various blades
Mission Fuel ('07)
RBK 7k pro-lite
RBK 6K pro-feel shaft with many blades

The only sticks that have come close are my Synergy SL and my compro. Haven't had much of a chance to try out my recently acquired pro-stock one90 shaft, ops, and vapor xxxlite shaft.

If you have some spare change, then I HIGHLY recommend picking one up. Great balance for a fused ops, fantastic feel as well. I tried a XXXX briefly before, and prefer this stick over it. Any other ?'s just ask :D

I love the XXV, but I would like to try the XXXX because I want to compare the true ops to the fused, and also because if I like the XXV this much then chances are I will like the XXXX as well. When I tried the XXXX, it was also very briefly and shooting around on a sportcourt, where as my main game is ice. I probably didn't word that the best, my bad.

Not too bad, we put up a few quick goals, and we shut them down pretty well. Their only goal was total bs, they pushed our goalie into the net after he had it covered. We went 4-0-0 in pool play, and then got beat by Beach City Lightening 4-1 in the final. Probably the best team we played all year. We had two A-teams last year, and they had to have equal talent so we had a large range of players talent-wise. They had a team where every guy could play, and that little goalie they had was incredible, robbed me a couple times.
