Default IW Buyer Feedback

I had an idea that much like another succesful hockey forum, it wouldnt be a bad idea to have a buyer/seller feedback sticky. Not only would this help establish the already much established members, but it would really help build trust with new members looking to sell items. I originally had planned to enclose this text in a PM to Spreed, but i figured that since the majority of decisions on this forum are made democratically, i would see what you guys think. So would you guys be in favor of creating a buyer/seller feedback list in which you can comment your transactions?

I also think a key part of this lists successfulness and usefulness would DEPEND on it beign a sticky.

Thanks for reading

I think this is a great idea. It is used on some other forums that I use for other sports and it is a great system that has helped people from getting ripped off.

Its a good idea but there really isn't that much traffic in the buy/sell forum. I sold one stick but I forgot who it was too. Some guy named Ilya or Ilja in New Jersey.

It could help but the member pool isn't big enough to spur a lot of interest. It may happen eventually, we just need more members.

I would also suggest but it will probably fall on deaf ears, that we should be allowed to sell other appropriate items. You know, video games, DVDs, anything of interest.

As long as people aren't spamming their ebay accounts, I can't see that it would be a problem.

I have zero problems with you guys using your connections on here to sell your own personal things in the classifieds section. I agree 100% to not be spamming ebay accounts....but give it a shot on here to sell your own material.

That is could easily be another advangtage of the system, as i am sure some people are not confident in buying from people with no track record. It couldnt do any harm, and the buy/sell forum has deffinatley took off since i first joined the forum (which wasnt all that long ago), so what do you say spreed?

I've never had a bad transaction on the board... Unfortunetly, half of those PMs have been deleted so I only have a couple names. Chole, Smashy and a few others have bought from me, no issues.
