yeah heat it up and maybe put some cuts in the surface of the fuse point... It's harder than pulling a blade on a shaft/blade combo but it's very durable.

Default OPS to Shaft Conversions

I have a 50 flex mission axis that i used out side. The blade is done and i want to pull the blade and give the shaft to my cousin. I do not want to cut and flip because i painted the bottom of the shaft for grip. i see fuse point, because the shaft flairs out at one point. If i cut a little here and put the shaft over the fireplace will i be able to pull the blade. Like you can on a dolomite. Also i do not have a heat gun.

A fire place? haha...A hair dryer usually works for me. You just have to be patient and hold it over each side of the shaft at he fuse point for a few minutes. NOt sure if a hair dryer will work with a OPS, ik its a charm on 2 pieces though.

I am almost positive you will not be able to heat that up and pull the blade out of the Mission Axis I dont think they are built like the warriors. I do Have a reebok 7K shaft I used for 2 games that looks great if your cousin wants it let me know $30 its his. I play at worlds gym and skate safe... well that was until my sports hernia but I can still meet you

Who knows about the Axis, you can do it to a Pulse.

I pulled a blade from a fused Warrior dolo. using a heat gun. I use a heat gun to change out blades. Cheap item at Sears.

if your going to use the fireplace, dont hold the stick IN it. hold it close enough so its getting a lot of heat to it, but not close enough so that it gets scorched by the flame

well, this did not go as planed. I cut a small line around the shaft and it revieled the hollow center of the shaft and i was like. Wow is this a true OPS. so i choped the whole blade off and the inside of the shaft was filled with plastic with 2 holes in it. So im flipping the shaft and throwing a blade in the butt end. Im just going to use this stick to shoot outside with

not its not a true ops, you may have just not cut high enough
also, most OPS tend to have some sort of dampening foam in them so you dont get a lot of vibrations

Would this work with the Synergy 300 jr stick and if it does would it be a standard or tapered blade?

Default OPS to Shaft Conversions

Is it possible? I've never done this detailed operation. I shattered a repaired shaft and the blade is still good. Can it be reused?
