The True SpeedShift DLC Steel Runners are the replacement blades for the 2025 True SVH Custom Skate, and are up to 20% stronger and reduce friction by up to 40% as compared to uncoated stainless steel. Simply put, these DLC runners are the perfect choice for the player who is seeking extended blade longevity and elite-level performance.
What separates these runners from traditional stainless or even polished steel is the high polish, diamond-like carbon coating finish. DLC increases surface strength to guard against nicks, chips, and scratches while also improving edge retention so players can skate longer between sharpenings. This special coating is enhanced by the high polish finish, which not only offers greater corrosion resistance but also improves glide, which means players use less energy to skate longer and faster.
